There are no reports of casualties of Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) troops from the explosions in Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul, The Ministry of National Defense has announced.
"There were two explosions outside of Kabul Airport. There is no damage or casualties in our units," the ministry said on Twitter.
TSK troops are at the airport working to evacuate citizens of Turkey, personnel, and soldiers from the country.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu condemned the "heinous terror attack" on Twitter.
"Deeply saddened by the loss of lives after today's attack in Kabul. Strongly condemn this heinous terror attack," he wrote. "Express my condolences to the families of those killed & my wishes for a speedy recovery to those wounded."

At least 60 people, including 12 US soldiers, were killed and more than 140 were injured in the bombings, according to reports in the international media.
The explosions occurred in an area controlled by US soldiers, Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said.
"The Islamic Emirate strongly condemns the bombing of civilians at Kabul airport, which took place in an area where security is in the hands of US forces," Mujahid wrote on Twitter.
