Russia's President Vladimir Putin has said that his counterpart from Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is a "predictable" person who always keeps his word.
"President Erdoğan and I often see things differently, we even have opposing views on some issues but he is a man of his word," Putin told reporters at his annual press conference, Russia's state-run TASS agency reported.
"If he believes that something is beneficial for his country, he will push through with it," he said. "The factor of predictability is very important as it helps you understand who you are dealing with."
Previously, Putin said about Erdoğan that he might seem "tough" but he was a "flexible and reliable" partner shen he was addressing reporters about the Nagorno-Karabakh crisis. (PT/VK)
