The Ministry of Health has released an outbreak management guideline for various sectors as part of the "controlled normalization process."
Shopping malls, hair salons, gas stations, grocery stores, clothing stores, white goods stores, car repair shops and cosmetics stores are among the 27 sectors for which the ministry published required measures.
Placing hand sanitizers and informative banners at entrances of stores are required for most types of businesses. Also, customers will be asked to go into a store on their own while people who don't intend to make a purchase will be asked to stay outside.
For stores in shopping malls, there must be no more than one person per eight square meters, including employees. For example, a 32-square-meter shop will only accept two customers at the same time. The number of people in a mall will be limited to one person per 10 square meters.
Other shops and stores are allowed to have one person per four square meters. All employees and customers are asked to keep a distance of at least one meter from one another and wear face masks.
At cosmetic stores, customers will not be allowed to try products that are applied on the face, such as lipsticks, mascaras and eyeliners. For trying other products such as perfumes and nail polish, employees will assist customers as they will not be allowed to touch products. (TP/VK)
