President and Justice and Development Party Chairperson Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke in the meeting organized today (April 11) for announcing the Election Manifesto of his party and introducing the candidates for MP.
Here, the incumbent president and head of government running again for presidency made the same election promise as his rival Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
Stating that they will continue to attach great importance to youth employment, Erdoğan said, "We will abolish the oral interviews in recruitments for public employment for the jobs other than where it is necessary for the job and we will appoint our young people according to the scores they make in the written examinations."

Kılıçdaroğlu's election promise
Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the joint presidential candidate of the Nation Alliance of six opposition parties is voicing at every opportunity that young candidates applying for public employment with high scores in Public Personnel Selection Examination are being ruled out in oral interviews.
Kılıçdaroğlu had said again, speaking in Çanakkale today, "Young people, I promise you, we will bring qualification to the state. We will abolish the oral interviews." (VC/PE)
