Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Eskişehir Deputy Utku Çakırözer visited Gezi prisoners Mücella Yapıcı, Mine Özerden and Çiğdem Mater, who were sentenced to 18 years of imprisonment in Gezi Trial.
The İstanbul 13th Heavy Penal Court announced its justified ruling regarding the Gezi Trial in which Osman Kavala was given aggravated life imprisonment for "attempted overthrow," while the other defendants Mücella Yapıcı, Can Atalay, Tayfun Kahraman, Ali Hakan Altınay, Yiğit Ali Ekmekçi, Çiğdem Mater and Mine Özerden had been sentenced to 18 years in prison for assisting this crime.

"No concrete evidence"
"There is nothing concrete in the indictment. The same copy-paste paragraphs were written about me everywhere. All of them end with the phrase 'detected'. So what was detected? They don't explain that. There are no documents. There is no evidence!" Özerden said on the court's decision.
Mücella Yapıcı stated the following to CHP MP Çakırözer:
"They wrote a 600 pages justified ruling. 50-60 pages are about FETÖ. We ask 'what does it have to do with us?' but in vain. There is not a single piece of concrete evidence. We are allowed to use the computer. But writing with it is forbidden. We learned that the computer is alowed only to read the justified ruling."
"I do not have any social media account"
Çiğdem Mater noted that the indictment mentions her social media posts. "However, I don't have any social media accounts," she said.
"They mention a meeting in the justified ruling. But I was not present at that meeting. They say 'She set up a team to film what happened in Gezi'. Yes, we did, but we did it a month and a half after Gezi Protests ended! What makes it a crime?"
Özerden: I have been kept in solitary confinement for 52 days
Gezi prisoners also spoke about the prison conditions and rights violations taking place in prison. Özerden said, "I have been kept in solitary confinement for 52 days."
"The Prison administration does not respond to our demand to stay together with Mücella Yapıcı and Çiğdem Mater. We are deprived of rights that are provided for other prisoners."
"We cannot participate in the courses taking place in prison, and we cannot make any calls by video. We have very limited time to spend together."
"We generally do not receive any response to our petitions. Despite all my requests, my blood test results, which I had on 12 May, still have not been given to me. They don't provide me with my regular vitamin, instead, they give me vitamins suitable for children."
Mater: We are in a 9-square meter ward
Çiğdem Mater emphasized that they are not provided any solution to the problems they face, especially regarding health issues. She explained their daily struggle with the following words:
"Every day we continue to sign several petitions. But still, I haven't been provided the vitamins that are necessary for my health. Our request to stay with Mine, who has been kept alone for two months, is not met. We are staying in a total area of 9 square meters ward Mücella Yapıcı. Our living area is 4 square meters."
"They are insensitive to our petitions and demands regarding health issues. I made several petitions just to see the results of my blood tests. Mine still hasn't seen the test results. For two months I haven't been able to take vitamins that I use regularly."
