With the start of the new legislative year, the first Presidential Memorandums on Lifting Legislative Immunity have been published by the Parliamentary Speaker's Office under the "Received Documents".
With the related files referred to the Joint Committee of the Members of the Committee on Constitution and Justice, the summaries of proceedings seek to lift the legislative immunity of following MPs:
Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Parliamentary Group Deputy Chair and Siirt MP Meral Danış Beştaş, HDP İstanbul MP Hüda Kaya, HDP Diyarbakır MP Garo Paylan and Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Diyarbakır MP Saliha Aydeniz. (TP/SD)
