Releasing a new video yesterday (May 16), mafia leader Sedat Peker continued making accusations against Minister of Interior Sülayman Soylu and former Minister of Interior Mehmet Ağar, among others.
He alleged that an advisor of Soylu had a car worth 1.6 million lira (191,000 USD) and a house worth 5 million lira (598,000 USD) and questioned how he was able to own those properties with a salary of about 10,000 lira (1,195 USD).
He also alleged a relative of the minister, Sadık Soylu, "is at the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization all the time" and has a say about zoning development plans despite not holding an official position.
Peker once again said Soylu was "my return ticket." In previous videos, Peker alleged that it was Soylu who had warned him about an investigation against him so that he was able to flee the country.

Leaving the country in late 2019 and spending more than a year in Balkan countries, Peker is currently in Abu Dhabi. He had been an active supporter of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) until then.
In his latest video, Peker also accused Mehmet Ağar and his son Tolga Ağar, who is also an AKP deputy, of attempting to seize properties of Altınbaş Holding.
In previous videos, he accused Ağars of seizing a luxury yacht marina from Mübariz Mansimov, who received a five-year prison sentence for being a member of the "Fetullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ)," the group held responsible for the 2016 coup attempt.
Peker claims it was a conspiracy against Mansimov to seize his businesses and it was Mehmet Ağar who had introduced Mansimov to Fetullah Gülen years ago. He also says Mehmet Ağar put a letter from Gülen on the wall in his prison ward when he was behind bars in 2011.
He had also claimed Tolga Ağar had sexually assaulted and killed Yeldana Kaharman, an 18-year-old journalist from Kyrgyzstan, and the incident had been covered up with the help of Mehmet Ağar. Similar allegations had been reported in local media outlets about the death of the women in Elazığ in 2019.
Another accusation Peker made against Ağars was that they were involved in drug trafficking and were the recipients of the five tons of cocaine that were seized in Colombia in a ship destined for Turkey in June 2020.
Parliamentary question
MP Süleyman Bülbül of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), who is also a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Justice, submitted a parliamentary question to Minister Soylu, asking whether Peker's allegations were true.
Bülbül asked Soylu about the photograph in which he is seen at the wedding of Hakan Fazlıoğlu, a relative of Peker, and asked him whether the reports that he was Fazlıoğlu's marriage witness were true.
In the videos, Peker claimed that he and Soylu had been communicating through Fazlooğlu.
He also asked why Sedat Peker was given police protection by the Governor's Office of İstanbul in 2015.
The MP also asked the minister whether an investigation was opened about the cocaine that was seized in Colombia and the allegations about the death of Kaharman. (AS/RT/VK)
