5 questions to Erdoğan about losses of life in Gare

Main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has repeated his questions about the death of 13 people in Gare.

Addressing the same questions from a week ago to President and ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) Chair Recep Tayyip Erdoğan again, Kılıçdaroğlu has asked Erdoğan "what he had done as the Prime Minister or President to rescue them for 5.5 years."

'I asked them over and over again...'

Attaching the note, "I asked over and over again; I am asking again on behalf of my 83 million citizens. Why do you evade giving an answer? Give an answer," Kılıçdaroğlu has asked the following five questions:

1. Since 2015, what have you done, as the Prime Minister or President, to rescue the sons of this homeland, who were held by the separatist terrorist organization for 5.5 years?

2. Begging for a letter from terror group head Abdullah Öcalan to help you out in the elections, why didn't you want him to make a call for the release of the sons of this homeland? Were the İstanbul elections more important for you than the 13 sons of this land?

3. For years, you boasted, saying, 'Trump, my dear friend.' Why didn't you use your friendship to rescue the sons of this land from terror group?

4. Didn't it occur to you at all to, at least, make a call to the domestic human rights organizations such as the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey, Human Rights Association and Mazlum Der, which made great contributions to solve the problem in similar incidents before, and to international human rights organizations to ensure that no harm would come to our sons held by the terrorist organization and they would be released?

5. In your statement in Rize, you said that one of the aims of the cross-border operation was to rescue our 13 sons who fell martyrs, but you could not manage to do it. Who will take the blame for the failure of the operation launched to rescue our 13 citizens? Who is responsible for this?

Erdoğan did not answer

It was on February 16 when CHP's Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu asked the above questions to Erdoğan, attaching the note, "I am asking Erdoğan, who is responsible for our 13 martyrs, on behalf of my 83 million citizens..."

Following the cabinet meeting a day later, Erdoğan said:

"Who is responsible for the operation that was carried out in Gare against the PKK terrorist organization is the state of the Republic of Turkey, from its president to the ministers of national defense and interior, from its soldiers to police and intelligence officers." (EKN/SD)
