Imprisoned former Co-Chair of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Selahattin Demirtaş has tweeted a brief message after politician Abdullah Zeydan, with whom he shares the same prison cell, has been arrested again shortly after a verdict of release was given for him.
Demirtaş has shared their picture taken in prison together and attached the note, "There is neither a legal order, nor the law. And there is no justice in any way at all. But, there is companionship, solidarity, hope and resistance. And, one day, there will definitely be freedom as well."
Today marks the third year since the two were arrested.
A verdict of release was given for former HDP Hakkari MP Abdullah Zeydan on November 1. However, before this verdict could be put into effect, the prosecutor's office objected to the verdict and another arrest warrant was issued against Abdullah Zeydan within a few hours.
