About Ali Yerlikaya
Born in Konya in 1968. Graduated from İstanbul University Faculty of Political Science in 1989.
He was appointed as district governor in Felahiye, Kayseri in 1993. After that, he served as district governor in Hilvan (Urfa) and Sarıkaya (Yozgat).
He was appointed as the Governor of Şırnak in 2007. He also served as governor of Ağrı, Tekirdağ and Antep.
He was appointed as the Governor of İstanbul on October 26, 2018, upon No. 2018/202 Presidential Decree. (AS/VK)
