In the eastern province of Kars, the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) won the elections. The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) appealed against the results. After the recount, the HDP's votes increased by 17 and the party was declared the winner.
HDP's candidate for Kars, Ayhan Bilgen, tweeted, "The recounting finished in Kars. Our votes increased by 17. Thanks to everyone who worked in the courthouse and who waited in front of it until the morning."
HDP supporters waited until the recounting is completed. *Photo: HDP
