The Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has issued summary of proceedings against four MPs of the HDP, namely HDP Co-Chair Pervin Buldan; Ağrı MP and Co-Chair of the Democratic Society Congress (DTK) Berdan Öztürk; Diyarbakır MP İmam Taşçıer and Dersim MP Alican Önlü on the allegation that "they have propagandized for a terrorist organization."
The statements of the MPs, which have allegedly constituted a crime according to the summary of proceedings, are as follows:
* The speech made by Buldan at the election rally in Siirt on June 21, 2018 before the parliamentary and presidential elections on June 24.
* The Newroz speech made by Berdan Öztürk in Ağrı on March 21, 2018.
* Social media posts of İmam Taşçıer dated May 24, 2018 and the speeches that he made in Diyarbakır on September 8 and 9, 2018.
* The Newroz speech made by Alican Önlü in Dersim on March 21, 2018.
The summaries of proceedings issued against Buldan, Öztürk, Taşçıer and Önlü have been referred to the Ministry of Justice to be conveyed to the Parliament for the abolishment of their legislative immunities. (EMK/SD)
