President and Justice and Development Party (AKP) Chair Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has spoken at the Meeting of Romans organized at Beştepe Nationa Culture and Congress Center.
Concerning the recent developments in economy, Erdoğan has said:
“Some plots have been staged over economy. We have wrecked these plots and will continue to do so. I call on those who attack our economy, you will not succeed. You will fail as you did in July 15 [coup attempt], Syria, Iraq”.
“We’ve brought back 80 FETÖ members so far”
“Turkey was practically dependent in every field. We couldn’t purchase every gun, they were delaying us. If we hadn’t produced our own UAVs, the situation would be different at Operation Euphrates Shield in Afrin. I’ve received the latest stats before coming here. 4,108 terrorists have been neutralized in Afrin. We’ve neutralized 337 terrorists in Northern Iraq and 173 others in Turkey.
“We got FETÖ (Fethullahist Terrorist Organization) off [the country] in 16 hours. They run, we chase. So far, we’ve brought back 80 of them and we will continue”. (AS/TK)
