The arrest decision for Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Kars MP Ayhan Bilgen that was issued after he was released has been lifted upon the objection of his attorneys.
Ayhan had been behind bars since January 31, 2017 and was released on September 9 in the hearing held before the Diyarbakır 5th Heavy Criminal Court. He was being charged with "being a member of a terrorist organization" in the trial regarding the Kobanê protests from October 6-8, 2014.
Upon the objection to his release, Diyarbakır 6th Heavy Penal Court issued a detention warrant again for Bilgen on September 18.
Today (September 28), the arrest warrant was revoked upon objection.
