Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım answered the questions of the journalists after the friday prayer.
Yıldırım commenting on the attack on the funeral of Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Deputy Co-Chair Aysel Tuğluk's mother Aysel Tuğluk and said that the attack was "in no way acceptable".
PM Yıldırım also commented on Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairperson Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's attorney Celal Çelik being taken into custody and said "it is the work of the judiciary".
"We don't know what he is being accused of"
Regarding Çelik's detention, Yıldırım said:
"This it the work of the judiciary. By all means, we don't know the content of the file, nor what he is being accused of. For that reason, it wouldn't be right to comment on the issue anymore. I hope that a right decision is taken in the light of the legal procedures".

"What happened is unacceptable"
As to the racist attack on Tuğluk's funeral ceremony, Yıldırım said:
"What happened [...] is in no way acceptable. This is a provocation produced by a couple of impertinent people.
"Our Governor and Minister have already informed, taken action and took care of the issue already. But it doesn't end there. Gölbaşı Public Chief Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation, there are detentions and interrrogations. Of course, we will reveal who is responsible for this act and do what is necessary. There should be no doupt on that.

Riot police did not intervene
HDP Ağrı MP Dilan Dirayet Taşdemir explaning what had happened during the funeral for bianet, told yesterday (September 14) that body was exhumed out of the grave upon threats and noted that the police showed the attackers the empty grave afterwards.
Explaining what happened following the attack, Taşdemir said:
"A riot police unit of 30 arrived at the scene later. But the riot police did not intervene in the incident. [...] On the contrary, they told [us] 'Be silent, don't answer back, don't let them be provoked". They were only a few people, so the police could have taken them if they wanted to and release them when the funeral was over". (ÇT/DG)
