Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Van MP Lezgin Botan who was taken into custody in Ferit Melen Airport in Van district in eastern Turkey has been released.
Botan had reported the detention on his Twitter account.
He he has been taken to court and no information about his detention has been given.
He was released short after the procedures regarding his testimony were completed.
Lezgin Botan had been taken into custody twice on November 4, 2016 and on January 30, 2017 and was later released.
There are 11 MPs behind bars
Şu anda cezaevlerinde 10 HDP'li vekil ve bir CHP'li vekil tutuklu bulunuyor. Currently, there are 10 MPs from HDP and one MP from Republican People's Party (CHP) who are behind bars.
The names of the arrested HDP MPs are: HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, HDP former Co-Chair Figen Yüksekdağ, Kars MP Ayhan Bilgen, Hakkari MPs Abdullah Zeydan and Selma Irmak, Mardin MP Gülser Yıldırım, Diyarbakır MPs İdris Baluken and Çağlar Demirel, Muş MP Burcu Çelik and Şırnak MP Ferhat Encü.
CHP İstanbul MP and journalist Enis Berberoğlu is also arrested. (TP/EKN/DG)
