An empty day on the calendar
The 8th International Conscientious Objectors Meeting (ICOM) was held in 1993 in Ören-Milas district in Turkey's western province of Muğla with 90 participators from 40 countries.
In the assembly, May 15 was declared the International Objectors Day. There was no reason for choosing specifically May 15 which was only an empty day on the calendar. (EKN/DG)
