The unofficial results of the referendum announced by the state-run Anadolu Agency (AA) and the Supreme Election Board's (YSK) decision to consider the unsealed ballot papers valid are being protested in many provinces.
People from several different places like İstanbul, Tekirdağ, Marmaris and Çanakkale continued to demonstrate against the YSK's decision.
The 16 people taken into custody in the demonstrations in Antalya on April 17 have been released on probation. Some others attempting to stage a demonstration in Aydın province have been blocked by the police.
İstanbul
Beşiktaş

The demonstrations in Beşiktaş continued at Kartal Square like on the evening of the referendum on April 16. People on their balconies banging pots and pans have supported the demonstration march on the street.
Kadıköy

Women have gathered in front of Sürreyya Opera House. In a statement made at the end of the march, the women said "While discussions about the results continue, we under no circumstances accept a constitutional amendment to which at least half of the people don't consent to, be imposed on us".
Avcılar

People gathering on Marmara Street in Avcılar have marched chanting slogans "NO, this is not the end, continue fighting", "NO, this is not the end, it is just the beginning".
Bakırköy
Beginning their march on Bakırköy Freedom Square, protesters chanted slogans "NO to the presidential system", "This election is not over befıre we say so", "Everywhere is NO, everywhere is resistance", "Don't be silent, shout, NO against the presidential system".
Tekirdağ

Republican People's Party (CHP) members have gathered at Üç Kemaller park chanting "We are the soldiers of Mustafa Kemal", "We will win through resistance" and "This is not the end, this is the beginning".
Marmaris

Initiated by CHP's Provincial Organization, NGOs gathering in front of the Atatürk statue have protested the YSK and chanted slogans like "Legal Theft Board" (Referring to the YSK with its initials), " No to the coup by the YSK".
Çanakkale

CHP Youth Section members gathering at İskele Square demanded that the referendum be annulled. The group chanted slogans like "Do not bow", "NO, it is not over yet".
İzmir
