Improvised explosive device was detonated in Çukurca district in Turkey’s southeastern Hakkari, killing two soldiers and wounding seven others on June 17 (Saturday). The governorship has declared that 5 (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) PKK members were killed.

In its statement, Hakkari Governorship announced that two soldiers stepping on an improvised explosive device were killed, seven others wounded as an operation continued in Güvendağı Region in Çukurca. Five PKK members were killed the clash. (EA/TK)
