A group of unidentified 
people wearing masks raided the flat where eight refugees from Syria were staying in İstanbul's Bayrampaşa and stabbed 19-year-old Nail Alnaif to death while he was sleeping.
The group raided the house at around 1 am and battered the ones at the house with sticks. Then, they stabbed Alnaif in his chest. He was taken to a hospital by his flatmates but has lost his life.
The ones staying at the house have said that the perpetrators were the people that they know from the neighborhood.
19-year-old Alnaif had been reportedly working for a cardboard company in Turkey for a year before his killing.
After the related bureaucratic procedures are completed, Naif Elnaif will be laid to rest in Syria by his family.
The police investigation into the incident is still ongoing. (AEK/SD)
