An access block has been imposed on the Jinnews website by the decision of the Van 2nd Penal Judgeship of Peace. In line with this decision, the Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) blocked access to the "jinnews8.xyz" address yesterday (October 22).
This last access block has marked the 11th access block imposed on the website since it was founded on September 25, 2017.
When one tries to access the website of Jinnews, which was established with the motto "On the path to truth, with women's pen," the following warning appears on the page in Turkish and English:
"The protection measure has been taken for this website (jinnews8.xyz) according to decision nr. 2020/3441 D.İş dated 22/10/2020 of 'Van 2nd Penal Judgeship of Peace' has been implemented by the Information and Communication Technologies Authority."
Most recently, an access block was imposed on "jinnews9.xyz" address on August 4. The website is now publishing its news on "jinnews10.xyz."
