The Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) has issued a broadcast suspension on the Fox Life channel for the TV series "9-1-1" because of an "inappropriate footage of an old male couple."
RTÜK made the following statement on the fine:
"Examining the series named '9-1-1' which is broadcasted by the Fox Life channel, the Supreme Council came to the conclusion that the inappropriate footage of an old male couple is against the national and spiritual values of the society, the general morality, and the principle of the protection of the family. RTÜK applied a broadcast suspension for three times to the Fox Life which broadcasts the series '9-1-1' that presents homosexual relationships as normal."
The 9-1-1 is created by Ryan Murphy and features significant actors and actresses such as Angela Bassett and Peter Krause. (EMK/VK)
