The Council of Judges and Prosecutors (HSK) has granted permission for the investgation of negligences leading to the feminicide of Ayşe Tuba Arslan by her ex-husband in Eskişehir.
Shortly after Arslan lost her life, it has been understood that the deceased woman appealed to the prosecutor's office for 23 times to complain about her ex-husband, who threatened and inflicted violence on her. However, no precautions were taken despite her repetitive complaints.
In her last petition to the Eskişehir Family Court, Arslan wrote, "I have got no results even though I have complained for several times and despite a restraining order. There is not a single legal action that I have not taken against this person named Yalçın Özalpay. I am receiving death threats from this person. Will you help me when my death takes place."

HSK Deputy President and 2nd Chamber Chair Mehmet Yılmaz has shared the press release of Eskişehir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office on Twitter, announcing that an investigation has been launched into the death of Arslan.

Council Deputy President Mehmet Yılmaz has shared the press release with the following message on his Twitter account: "The necessary permission has been given by the HSK to inspect the issue in question and it is respectfully announced to the public that the necessary action will be taken against the public officers found negligent as a result of the inspection and the result will also be announced to the public with respect."
