Under investigation over 100 "disappeared" horses that came from İstanbul's Princes' Islands, Dörtyol District Mayor Fadıl Keskin resigned from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP).
The İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality banned horse carriage on the islands last year and the islands' horses were distributed to various provinces.

MHP Deputy Chair Sadir Durmaz said on Twitter that Keskin resigned because of the administrative and judicial investigations against him and he was dropped from the party's mayors list.
