Landslide at the entrance of Mount Bolu Tunnel in northwestern Turkey disrupted the traffic on the İstanbul-Ankara motorway.
Three lanes in the direction of Ankara and one lane in the direction of Istanbul were closed to traffic yesterday (April 3).
Anadolu Otoyolu, Bolu Dağı Tüneli'nin Düzce girişinde dün akşam heyelan meydana geldi.
Vehicle traffic on the road was directed to D-100 road, from Abant in the İstanbul direction and from Kaynaşlı in the Ankara direction.
The Directorate General of Highways teams have completed clearing debris in the Ankara direction. The road will be opened after all debris is cleared.
The traffic is expected to return to normal today, the directorate announced. (HA/VK)
