Bar associations of Antalya, İstanbul and Ankara have called the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (TBB) to hold a general assembly to "re-evaluation of the chairpersonship of Metin Feyzioğlu."
İstanbul Bar Association yesterday (September 4) announced it will hold a delegate meeting on calling for a general assembly at the TBB.

Antalya Bar Association Chair Polat Balkan said they welcome the decision of İstanbul Bar as they were the first to call for a general assembly.
Ankara Bar Association today joined the two associations, saying in a statement that they decide to call on the TBB for an extraordinary general assembly.
The judicial year opening ceremony on September 2 was held at the Presidential Complex. While many bar associations including İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir and Diyarbakır protested the ceremony because of its place, TBB Chair Feyzioğlu attended and made a speech. (RT/VK)
