Journalists Abdurrahman Gök, Lezgin Akdeniz, Cihan Ölmez, Esra Solin Dal and Semiha Alankuş, who were detained in house raids conducted as part of a Diyarbakır-based operation launched in eight provinces on October 9, have been released after giving their depositions at the courthouse.
A series of operations were launched against journalists and politicians by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office at the morning hours on October 9 and more than 100 people were taken into custody.

13 People, including 1 journalist, were arrested
While 23 of the detained were released after giving their testimonies at the Diyarbakır Provincial Security Directorate on October 10, one person has been released after giving deposition at the Prosecutor's Office.
Of the 25 people who were referred to courthouse on October 12, 12 people were released on probation and 13 people, including journalist Kibriye Evren, was arrested. (TP/SD)
