Bozdağ: Assigning that Prosecutor to Cumhuriyet Investigation is Unfortunate

Minister of Justice Bekir Bozdağ has made a statement about the assignment of prosecutor Murat İnam, one of the FETÖ (Fethullahist Terror Organization) case suspects, to Cumhuriyet daily investigation.
Describing the assignment as "unfortunate", Bozdağ said "I wish such an assignment hadn't been made. Someone else could have carried out the assignment as well. We aren't authorized change the prosecutors. It is entirely in Chief Prosecutor's authority. I want to emphasize that there no ill intention here".
An investigation was launched today (November 3) into OdaTV Editor-in-Chief Barış Pehlivan, who was the first to cover Murat İnam running the operation launched into Cumhuriyet daily, on charge of "targetting people who served in fight against terror as a target". (EKN/TK)
