The Governorship of Bitlis has announced that curfew has been declared in 43 villages and hamlets in the central district of the province as of 06.00 a.m. today.
Curfew has been declared in the following villages and hamlets on the gorund of upcoming military operations:
Çalıdüzü, İçgeçit, Akçalı, Yukarıölek, Aşağıölek, Oğulcak, Kalupat, Dutköy, Karakuş, Aşağıbalcılar, Yukarıbalcılar, Çeltikli, Aşağıyolak, Yukarıyolak, Beşkaynak, Yarönü, Dikme, Yukarıdikme, Aşağıdikme, Bayırlı, Kutlu, Akgün, Çobansuyu, Aşağıçobansuyu, Güllüce, Kınalı, Cevizdalı, Kayalıbağ, Karaca, Esenburun, Uçankuş, Bayramalan, Üçevler, Başmaklı, Dursun, Yukarıçerman, Kaşıklı, Konalga, Ilıcak, Ünaldı, Ağaçdere, Aşağıkoçak, Harmanyeri.
The end time of the curfew has not been declared.
At least 20 curfews in Bitlis
According to the data announced by the Human Rights Foundation of Turkey (TİHV) on January 3, southeastern province Diyarbakır is where curfews in their current form are declared in for the most times.
From August 16, 2015 to January 3, 2019, curfew was declared for at least 20 times in Bitlis.

Former Bayburt Governor İsmail Ustaoğlu was appointed as mayor on June 21, 2017. |
