Two soldiers and two village guards were killed in a military operation carried out in Doğubayazıt district of Turkey's eastern province of Ağrı on Saturday (September 30).
Ağrı Governor Süleyman Elban stated that members of the Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) had opened fire on a minibus on September and killed three people from Afghanistan and injured seven others. An operation was launched subsequently by Ağrı Gendarmerie Command.
Elban added that in the operation, two soldiers and two village guards were killed during the operation and eight security personnel were injured. (ÇT/DG)
