Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has shared the number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases per 100 thousand people on a provincial basis.
Covering the week of September 4-10, the map has shown that the average number of cases per 100 thousand people was highest in Rize (488.15 cases), Elazığ (412.95 cases) and Trabzon (400.54 cases).
10 provinces with the highest increase
According to a statement made by Minister Fahrettin Koca on his Twitter account, the highest weekly increase in the number of COVID-19 cases was seen in the provinces of Kilis, Erzincan, Malatya, Karabük, Kastamonu, Erzurum, Adıyaman, Kayseri, Tokat and Sinop.
"If you are in one of these provinces, you should be more careful now," Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has noted.

Increasing numbers in İstanbul, Ankara
According to the map shared by Koca, while the numbers of cases increased in İstanbul and Ankara, there was a slight decrease in İzmir.
While the number of cases was 156.95 in İstanbul in the week of August 28 - September 3, it increased to 183.48. While the number of cases was 242.61 in the capital city of Ankara, it rose to 282.66.
The average number of COVID-10 cases per 100 thousand people dropped from 45.58 to 43.26 in the Aegean province of İzmir. (KÖ/SD)
