A public hospital in the southern Mersin province has issued a warning to a nurse for being infected with the coronavirus.
Sending a letter to the nurse, Toros State Hospital noted that all staff members were informed regarding the full and complete use of personal protective equipment and physical distancing measures.
However, it said, it was found that the nurse violated the distancing measures and is warned for that.
Disciplinary action would be taken against the nurse in case of further violations, says the letter.

Alpay Antmen, a Republican People's Party (CHP) deputy from Mersin, said on Twitter that issuing a warning to an infected health worker was a scandal.
Mentioning Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, he said, "Health workers die every day. Will you take disciplinary action against them for dying?"
Speaking to bianet, Antmen said that the minister tried to make a success story out of the pandemic but it turned into a "death story" for health workers.
The ministry misled the public by easing restrictions and the people and health workers are paying the price of it, he added.
The deputy called on the ministry to recognize Covid-19 as an occupational disease for health workers. (EMK/VK)
