The Health Ministry has registered 30,110 more coronavirus infections, including 6,101 symptomatic cases, for the past 24 hours.
The country's death toll rose by 190 to reach 13,936, according to the ministry, while the İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality reported 188 deaths of an"infectious disease" for the city alone.

The number of daily cases in Turkey has been among the world's top five since the Ministry of Health started including asymptomatic cases in its daily count on November 25.
Amid growing suspicion of the accuracy of the official figures, the municipality has been publishing the number of deaths caused by an infectious disease since November 22.
The new symptomatic cases raised the overall patient count to 506,966 while 4,593 patients recovered over the past day, bringing the tally to 409,320, according to the ministry.
More than 180,312 Covid-19 tests were conducted across the country in the said period, pushing the total to over 18.77 million.
The number of patients in critical condition now stands at 5,303.

"We should not forget that precautions, whether obligatory or voluntary, save lives," Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Twitter, urging the public to follow Covid-19 measures and to stay at home.
The pandemic has claimed more than 1.47 million lives in 191 countries and regions since last December, according to the US' Johns Hopkins University.
