Mustafa Destici, the Chair of the Great Unity Party (BBP), which is a part of the Alliance for the Public with Justice and Development Party (AKP) and Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), has commented on the declaration of April 24 as the Commemoration Day for the Armenian Genocide in France.
Destici, who previously said "Let's deport 100 thousand Armenians from Turkey" in 2016 and 2017, has again made similar remarks.
"You allege that it was genocide, we reject it"
Targeting the Armenian minorities living in Turkey, Destici has addressed France and its President Emmanuel Macron in following words:
"Who are you? You should first account for your own genocide. You caused the death of 2 million Muslims in Algeria. You supported the coup in Rwanda, 800 thousand innocent people lost their lives there. You should first give an account for them. You used to come to Suleiman the Magnificent and call for his help by licking his boots. Who are you to show off before this nation like that? You allege that there was an Armenian genocide. We reject it.
"We don't accept it. Macron aside, if the whole world unites and stands against us, they will still not make us accept it. It is a big lie. Today, there are 100 thousand Armenians who escaped from Armenia and eat their fills in our country. What I am saying is the following: Let's deport them.
"They are either zionists or imperialists"
"On the one side, they are lobbying against Turkey; on the other side, we are feeding them. The ones having the same mentality with the CHP (main opposition Republican People's Party) or the pawns of zionist imperialists in Turkey have been bringing up the issue of Syrian refugees, but, they never talk about Armenian fugitives. They cannot do it because they are their relatives. We are aware of all these." (PT/SD)
