A judgeship has released journalist Nurcan Yalçın, who was detained on Friday (February 4) in an investigation conducted by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
After giving her statement to the police, the journalist was referred to the courthouse today.
The prosecutor's office demanded the journalist's arrest. The Penal Judgeship of Peace released Yalçın upon judicial control measures.
Nurcan Yalçın was killed early Friday during a police raid in her home in Diyarbakır.
After searching her flat, police took her to the Anti-Terror Department of the Provincial Secuirty Directorate.
A lawyer restriction order was issued against Yalçın for 24 hours. (HA/VK)
