WWF: We are Going to Ida Mountains, Join us

Thousands of people have been keeping "Water and Conscience Watch" in Ida Mountains since July 26. The aim of the watch is to stand up against the gold mine planned to be constructed in Kirazlı Village and to defend the lungs of Marmara region, thus, the nature and life.

The Turkey branch of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) will also be in Ida Mountains with its team, volunteers, members and all supporters and followers on August 18 to attend Fazıl Say's concert. They will say #KazDağlarınaDokunma, or "Don't touch Ida Mountains".

The WWF Turkey has said, "If you stand by us, we will be much stronger" and wanted everyone who would like to come with them to fill out this form.

'If you stand by us, our voice will rise'

The WWF team has released the following statement:

"We will be at Fazıl Say's concert of support in Ida Mountains at 11 a.m. on August 18 and we will together say #KazDağlarıHepimizin (Ida Mountains belong to us all). We are one person missing without you.

"If you stand by us, our wise will rise. When you come here, you can recognize us from our shirts with panda shirts. You can come here with your panda shirt if you have any; if not, we can give you one if you come early."
