The annual inflation rate was 18.95 percent in Turkey in July, according to the figures released by the Turkish Statistical Institution (TurkStat).
The monthly inflation rate was 1.80 percent and the 12-month inflation rate was 15.15 percent, shows TurktStat figures.
The highest increase in prices was in food and non-alcoholic beverages as their prices rose by 24.92 percent in a year. The other groups with a high inflation rate were transportation (24.62 percent) and furnishings and household equipment (22.70 percent).
The lowest annual increase was in the alcoholic beverages and tobacco group with 1.80 percent.
The Domestic Producer Price Index increased by 2.46 percent in a month and 44.92 percent compared to the same month last year.
