A stand-up show in Kurdish was going to be performed as part of the "Let's overcome the addiction, build the new life" program of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) İstanbul Youth Assembly.
The show to be staged in the Su Performing Arts Hall (Su Gösteri Sanatları Sahnesi) has been banned by the Fatih Sub-governor's Office.
As reported by Mezopotamya Agency (MA), the Sub-governor's office notified Ayhan Uslu, the official of the performing arts hall, that the show has been banned without citing a "reason" for the ban.
With the ban of the Office, the HDP's İstanbul Youth Assembly has announced that the show will be performed in their Bağcılar district building. (RT/SD)
