This year's Accessible Film Festival will be held on October 11-17.
To be held for the ninth time, the Accessible Film Festival will screen a selection of short films under the title of "Absurd", offering a glimpse into the comedy of surreal situations, asynchronous behavior with the ordinary flow of life, inconsistency, and our futile search for meaning.
"Where logic ends, the absurd begins," reads the motto of the selection, which will consist of the short films curated by Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festival, one of the most important short film festivals in the world.
Six films with a high dose of comedy from the history of Clermont Ferrand Short FF, which took place for the 43rd time this year, are included in the selection. The films that can be watched in the selection are:
A Pretty Funny Story directed by Evan Morgan which received the Festival's Canal+ Award in 2013; This Is How You Die directed by Michael Mohan; Alexandre Poulichot's short film Have a Good Death produced in 2020; United We Stand directed by Hans Petter Moland; Céline Devaux's award-winning animation Sunday Lunch produced in 2015, award-winning animation Negative Space directed by Max Porter and Ru Kuwahata.
All screenings free of charge
Organized by the Puruli Culture Art, the Accessible Film Festival offers all screenings to its audience free of charge. Accessible Film Festival presents all screenings with audio-description and caption subtitling.
