The Film Critics Association of Turkey (SİYAD) has selected the best 20 foreign films of 2019. Accordingly, the film "Parasite" by Bong Joon-ho has been named the "Best Foreign Film of 2019."
The films have been selected by the SİYAD members among the foreign films that came to the big screen last year.
Releasing a statement on its official Twitter account, the Association has announced that the importer of "Parasite" will be granted the award in the 52nd SİYAD Awards Ceremony to be held in March 2019.
The Association will announce its candidates for the 2019 Turkey Cinema Awards in the upcoming week.
The 20 best foreign films selected by the SİYAD members in order of liking are as follows:

3- Burning (Lee Chang-dong)
4- Shoplifters (Hirokazu Koreeda)
5- Joker (Todd Phillips)

8- Beanpole (Kantemir Balagov)
9- Happy as Lazzaro (Alice Rohrwacher)
10- Sorry, We Missed You (Ken Loach)
11- Synonyms (Nadav Lapid)
12- Border (Ali Abbasi)
13- Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (Quentin Tarantino)
