Aslı Tunç

Prof. Dr. Aslı Tunç is a faculty member in the Media Department of the Faculty of Communication at İstanbul Bilgi University. She holds a PhD in communication from Temple University in Philadelphia, where she also taught courses on communication theory and global media. Her research focuses on media and democracy, digital activism, social media, and gender. Alongside her academic work, she regularly contributes to Medyascope and the monthly literature and culture magazine Mikroscope.
