Sinan Oğan who was the presidential candidate of the ATA Alliance and who received 5,17 percent of the votes cast for the presidency in the May 14 elections shared a post on his social media accounts and said that they will be announcing their position related to the second round of the presidential elections today (May 22) at 5:00 pm.
"We have reached the conclusion of the discussions we have made. When we complete the talks and discussions we will make tomorrow we will make up our decision and share it with the great children of the Turkish nation. We want all to know that our decision will not be given in return for anything, but for the future of the Turkish nation, for the unity of our country, stability will be significant, and that we approach the issue not holding any expectations but on the basis of principles."
Justice supports Kılıçdaroğlu and leaves Ancestral Alliance
The Justice (Adalet) Party, having run in the May 14 elections under the ATA Alliance on the other hand announced support for the opposition candidate Kılıçdaroğlu. Vecdet Öz, the president of the party also stated that the alliance has come to an end.

"Our first priority is for this government to go. Therefore our decision was to support Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu. We have communicated this support to him. This is our democratic right. Therefore we are also telling our voters, that this is our decision.
The official announcement will be made during Kılıçdaroğlu's visit to the party headquarters on Monday (May 22), Öz also indicated.
Later in the day, Öz announced his party's withdrawal from the Ancestral Alliance, saying, "Supporting the government was not part of our plan."
