Worker's Party of Turkey (TİP) President Erkan Baş today responded to the discriminatory statements that Mustafa Desteci, the President of the Great Unity Party (BBP) made for him in a TV program, referring to Baş's family being Yugoslav migrants.
Destici had said, in the TV program that the real surname of Erkan Baş was Jusovich, and called Baş "a leftover from Tito."
Baş responded to him today and wrote in his social media that it is not him alone that is being insulted, but millions of Yugoslav migrants living in Turkey.
Baş wrote, "I do not take this person seriously, but it is not a problem about me alone. Who is being insulted are the millions of Yugoslav migrants in our country.
"Who is being spotted as a spy are millions of children of workers who are born in Germany. This is racism. You will be defeated by the honor of the laborers on the other side of the water.
He says some information is being "hidden." Everyone can easily reach this information. You can see the Wikipedia page in my name, you can see the book that I have written called "Socialism to be able to live."
Racism is a conspiracy, racism is a fraud. And this is just an ordinary example of racism."

BBP President Mustafa Destici said in a TV program about the TİP President, "The man is a leftover from Tito. There was the Tito regime in Yugoslavia. There was a communist regime similar to the Soviet regime. Then you pass from here to Germany. In the German left organizations. It is apparent that you are raised under the control of German intelligence, and you are sent to Turkey.
"What is your real surname? Josovich. You use Baş here. Who is the politician with the surname Baş? I am talking about the TİP president. Can you bare your breast in front of the Turkish nation as Jusovich? You can check it in Google. I do not think it is correct to hide the truth from society. These are being sent to Turkey."
