The police raided a Democratic Society Congress (DTK) building, J&J publishing house and many homes in the morning in the Kurdish-majority province of Diyarbakır.
Raiding the DTK building in Kayapınar district at around 4 a.m., the police confiscated many books and DTK signs, the Mesopotamia Agency (MA) reported
DTK Chairpersonship Council members Jiyan Taş and Hüseyin Kaya, Rosa Women's Association executive Rojda Barış, Silvan district's dismissed co-mayor Naşide Toprak, who has been under house arrest, MEBYA-DER association executive Yıldız Damla, Democratic Regions Party (DBP) party assembly member Leyla Bağatır and Suphi İzol from the Office Laborers Union (BES) are among the detained.
