The police have raided numerous homes in the provinces of Ankara, Antep, Urfa, Diyarbakır, Batman, Ağrı and Adıyaman, detaining more than 70 people.
Members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), Democratic Regions Party (DBP) Human Rights Association (İHD), Laborers of Health and Social Services (SES) are among the detained.
Ankara
The police today (November 27) detained 11 people from the HDP, the İHD and the SES, bringing them to the Anti-Terror Branch at the Ankara Security Directorate.
Names of the detained people are: İHD Ankara Branch Co-Chair Fatin Kanat, SES executives Fikret Çağlayan and Belkıs Yurtsever, HDP Parliamentary Assembly Member Bereket Kar, HDP members Mazhar Yerlikaya, Şehriban Başak, Ethem Özgan, Sabahattin Karlı, Kemal Akalın, Ziya Cebeci and Berfum Çolak.
Kocaeli
Twenty-three HDP members were detained yesterday. While the detained are held at the Kocaeli Security Directorate, a confidentiality order has been issued on the investigation.
Adıyaman
Former HDP MP Behçet Yıldırım was detained today in a raid in his home. Hacı Yusuf Topaloğlu, a reporter for the Dicle News Agency (DİHA), which was shut down upon a statutory decree, was also detained. They were brought to the Provincial Security Directorate.
Urfa
A citizen named İrfan Erdem has been detained over his social media posts and charged with "propagandizing for a terrorist organization."

Batman
At least 25 people were detained today in Batman: Mahfuz Akgül, Elif Koyuncu, Şükrü Baytar, Adil Erin, Mehmet Salih Turmuş, Mustafa Erol, Seyithan Tatar, Nurhan Seçkin, Murat Tekin, Fatma Kapalıgöz, Yaşar Kırca, İlyas Tiryaki, Halime Çetinkaya, Ezel Aydın, Derya Arslan, Seyfettin Demirkılıç, Cengiz Fırat, Güler Turhan, Zozan Adlı and Rozerin Koyuncu.
Ağrı
HDP provincial executive Kazım Aslan and HDP Doğubeyazıt district executives Faruk Sevkan and Okan Sekirden have been detained.
Siirt
Four people in the city center and eight people in Pervari town (Halit Pömen, Bahyettin Okur, Bedri Şahbudak, Zeydin Eksik, Kenan Yavuz, Hacı Tukat and Muzaffer Turşak) have been detained. (RT/VK)
