The İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has announced the toll of the powerful storms that have affected the city since yesterday (November 29).
Accordingly, four people were killed and 46 were injured during the sotmrs. Also, roofs of 141 buildings were blown off, 297 trees were uprooted, 36 vehicles were damaged, and 52 traffic lights and signs fell down, said the municipality.
The IMM received 1,094 notices from citizens across the city, according to the municipality.
Also, rising water levels caused coastal flooding along the Kadıköy-Kartal coastal road on the Asian side of the city, said the IMM. (TP/VK)
