The Good Party (İYİ) shared a new election video in its election campaign for the May 14 presidential and parliamentary elections.
The video, named "Uninvited Guest," uses anti-immigrant expressions and has a racist attitude.
The video which aims at pulling votes over migrants starts saying "Akflix presents," making a reference to AKP (the Justice and Development Party.) "A border full of holes," calls it Turkey'e borders and throws mud at migrants referring to many news broadcasts about those who got involved in crimes.
The video also includes President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's words in his Welfare Party period. He says, back then, "This is the situation we are in, in foreign policy. You say, 'Come, as many as you like, come but where will you place them? What kind of a policy is this for a state? What a huge contradiction!"
The Good Party's election video again includes the statements of President Erdoğan and some ministers defending the migrants on different dates.
It shows Erdoğan saying, "They say we will send them to their countries. We will not," "We will give these brothers of us the right to citizenship," and "We are not disturbed about this," in statements that date to more recent years.
After showing news where migrants in Turkey have been charged with shooting images of women without permission, fighting, injuring or killing people using a knife, or similar crimes, Meral Akşener, the party leader is heard saying in the end of the video, "But very soon, these will all finish and a brand new sun will rise. Because, on May 14, Turkey will write history." (HA/PE)
