The Ministry of Interior's Women's Emergency Support (KADES) application is now available in five more languages, including Kurdish.
The application was previously available in Turkish, Arabic, Persian, English, Russian and French. The newly added languages are German, Spanish, Kurdish, and Uzbek and Kyrgyz languages. Kurdish is the second-most spoken language in Turkey.
Lawyers from the Diyarbakır Bar Association's Center for Women's Rights and the Kurdish Language Commission made an application in March for the inclusion of Kurdish in the application.
