Southern Cyprus President Nikos Anastasiadis has said that they will "take all possible diplomatic measures" against Turkey's claims on Cyprus.
Yavuz Drillship arrived in Güzelyurt-1 well location near Northern Cyprus on Saturday (October 5).
Speaking after a trilateral meeting between Southern Cyprus, Greece and Egypt, Anastasiadis said they "strongly condemn Turkey's unacceptable activities in areas belong to Cyprus," Al-Arabia reported.
Turkey has been doing drilling activities in the eastern Mediterranean since early 2019.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Foreign Minister of Greece, addressed the issue on Saturday in a meeting with his US counterpart Mike Pompeo in Athens.
