An access ban on the website of the Avesta Publishing House has been lifted after an appeal.
The Ankara 4th Penal Judgeship of Peace accepted the appeal yesterday (February 28), the publishing house said in a statement.
The website was among several sites that were banned for making propaganda for the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) on February 23.
Rudaw, a multilingual news portal based in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, Rudaw, and the Twitter accounts of the Kurdistan-based journalist Frederike Geerdink, the JINHA news agency and the Xwebun newspaper, and the Hûrbînî podcast, were the other addresses that got blocked.
